WEIRD! It's those hot pink Zara sandals again. Making yet another appearance in an outfit this week (see Tuesday's post HERE). After the wedding in Salem, MA on Friday night, we spent part of Saturday morning/afternoon brunching and shopping. It was insanely humid that day so comfortable clothing was a must. It's also a must if you plan to indulge in a 2 lb. strawberry and nutella crepe... which I definitely did not do.

The High-Low Skirt

I've had this skirt in my closet for several months but figured it'd be more of a summer thing than whatever you want to call this in-between weather we've been having. Ever have those moments where you just can't wait to wear something a moment longer? Well, that's what happened yesterday. I love the hint of leopard on the sleeves of my (faux) leather jacket. It's a small nod to the mixed pattern trend right now that I'm slowly starting to love.

Tie-Dyed and Gone to Heaven

Sushi Date

Sure, boyfriends are wonderful. But sometimes, the perfect "date" is chatting over sushi and a glass of wine with your girlfriends. That's what I spent last Saturday night doing. I hadn't seen this particular girlfriend in a while so we sat in our little corner of the restaurant catching up for several hours.

Jeans & a blouse. It's definitely my uniform for dinner dates with friends. I love the almost sailor-esq look of this blouse. The camera didn't pick up the exaggerated collar very well which is unfortunate but it's still cute nonetheless. Do you have a go-to "uniform" for occasions like this?
