Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

As we approach a brand new year, it's only natural to reflect on what the past year has handed us. I sit here, writing this post, thankful for all of the wonderful things that came into my life this year. A new job that I love, new friends that have already turned into family, and many, many other things that would bore you beyond belief. Like most people, I've also had my fair share of pain over the last 12 months. But how's that saying go? "In order to make it to the rainbow, you must make it through the rain." Corny? Possibly. But it really resonates with me lately. I'm a firm believer in that everything happens for a reason. It's hard to sit back and let life happen as it may (and I'm certainly guilty of trying to control every aspect of mine), but for 2013, I hope to enjoy every step of the way. The good times and the bad. And I wish every one of you the happiest and healthiest of years. Thanks for stopping by every so often to check out my humble little blog.
